With numerous beaches, national parks, and one of the country’s most famous walks, it isn’t hard to see how those who stop here find it hard to leave. Situated 800kms north of Sydney, it is usually the first or last stop on the itinerary for those travelling on the east coast of Australia, depending on which you way you are going.
